Facilitating natural little artists at Kedi Art Atelier. Children have numerous creative and entertaining ways of keeping themselves busy. Art is by far one of the most interesting activities for children. Encourage your children to develop their drawing, painting and artistic skills, which will help develop their creativity as well as their social skills. Our Children’s Art Classes can help children express themselves, become more organised, gain a healthy self-esteem and communicate better. Creating art even helps with a child’s brain development. Please be aware that these classes are not Arts & Craft Classes. Your child will not be sticking down wool or torn papers and cutting up things. Whilst those activities are great for recreation and art therapy and for toddlers to develop fine motor skills, our Children’s Art Classes are focused on teaching children how to see, draw, paint and use different mediums to communicate visually. For this purpose we teach them the foundations of art and how to apply them in practice. One class weekly; Duration: 1 hour for 7 to 9 year olds and 1.5 hours for the 10 to 13 year olds. Monthly Fees: Ages 7 to 9: R650 per month; Ages 10 to 13: R 800 per month. Basic art kits available for purchase.
